Fashion At the Park

Today was my lil cousin Avery’s bday party and of course she wanted her big cousin Kiera there! So I had to chaperon four GIRLS all around CJ Barrymore’s! I didn’t want my attire to be dressed up because I knew I would be ripping and running all day with the kids! So I finally decided I would wear my new lil Rolling Stones T-shirt I bought from TJMaxx and my Dark Denim shorts from Old Navy, but to top it off I had to wear my grungy black Converse sneakers. To make my outfit POP I wore mismatched bangles, my small hearted Tiffany necklace, and Rhinestone studs.

Today you can find my outfit at TJMaxx (Rolling Stones shirt), Old Navy(Dark Denim shorts), Forever21 (Bangles), Tiffany & Co. (small hearted necklace) Underground (Black Converse sneakers)

I wanted to be fashionable, but not too dressy!

Today I felt like a big sister! I wasn’t too dressed up but I was still fashion forward! I looked as though I fit in with Avery and her friends! Is this an outfit I can dress up and turn into an evening outfit? And if so, how??

If I were to wear this look on a night on the town I would add black skinny jeans and Red stiletto silver bangles and big silver hoop earrings.

Trendy, but Work Appropriate

Hey! I know everyone’s anticipating the blog for today!! I’ve thought all day as to what I am going to blog about! So I thought I would talk about dressing the part for a job interview!! Today at work we conducted interviews for our program so I had to dress up as well! So today I decided to wear a pink button down with seersucker tan mixed with brown pants! Trust me it was
HOTTT FIRE!! I didn’t want to do too much because I was dressing professional for the day, but to make it POP I wore two big bangles one floral the other leopard print. I know it sounds weird with the two together, but with style you have to take risk and learn to MISMATCH. “Matchy Matchy” is never stylish but learning what’s the best fit for your style is what will take you far!

Today you can find my outfit at H&M (Pink Shirt), Kohl’s (Seersucker Pants), Forever21 (Bangles), & Sundance (Boutique in West Bloomfield, MI Loafers)

Today my image said I was a working girl i! I was trendy, but work place appropriate. That’s a good tip to remember a lot of trends are cute but not all of them are appropriate for the work environment.

Welcome to Kei`s Fashion Wonderland

Hey! My name is Kiera Ellis, but everyone calls me Kei. I am the creator of KEI`S FASHION WONDERLAND. I never saw my self as a stylist, but as a FASHIONISTA. After many compliments on my various ensembles and questions on where to find "this and that", I thought it would be a great idea to create a blog to help the average middle/high school/college student. These helpful tips are not exclusively for younger girls, but also for today`s working women!! Follow me down my yellow-brick-road as I list and discuss new fashion trends as well as how to incorporate your own style into any outfit.

Sickly Fashion

This morning I woke up feeling kind of sick...The first thing that came to mind was I DON’T WANT TO GO TO WORK TODAY!! So I finally rolled out of bed and walked into my closet and looked and said “uggghhh what am I going to wear today” I want to be cute but not too flashy because I wasn’t in the mood! Yes everyone, it was THAT KIND OF DAY! So after trying on this and that I finally settled on an outfit!! I threw on my favorite skinny jeans, a screen t-shirt, and gray converse. The jeans are from Forever21, t-shirt from Motivation (boutique in Ann Arbor, MI), and converse aka "Chucks" from Underground Station.

So, you may be asking, "How did I come up this look today?" Ummm….Well I just decided I was gonna be cute and casual! Nothing too flashy but still fashionable. Something simple and cute that I could just add my TIFFANY jewelry with, because every girl LOVES Tiffany`s.

This outfit says, just because you're sick doesn't mean you can't be fabulous! So I made it up in my mind that I was still going to be cute!

Now, this outfit can definitely be dressed up. I would add multiple long necklaces to make the shirt POP a little more, keep the jeans and add a really cute funky peek-a-boo chunky stiletto. Also the jewelry would include tons of bangles and big hoop earrings.
